aka Alt3rnate World
The idea for an alternate reality game
**## Objective
-
To provide a learning experience for each player by making them enter another universe of their choosing and making them live that life.
-
By realising that nothing really matters, we can deep-dive into the possibility that everything can matter.
-
People become kinder when they step into the shoes of someone else. Because they realise just how much harder life can be.
-
This is done by allowing the input parameters to be decided by the player
Goals
- To create a complete game where the game never ends for there's always another player who has a unique interpretation on your life.
Solution
MMORPG. The stories are set by the addition of new players.
The world becomes explored through their stories. Each time a player enters that world, their actions create the world around them, according to their story.
Thatβs where the connections come in. Each time a player can be related to another player at any point of their respective stories, that means their stories are taking place in the same world.
So, as the number of players increases, the number of stories occurring simultaneously increases and the size of the game world increases.
Each character of the world is directly responsible for their piece of the world.
Project Outline
-
Each part of the world around the player is represented as a fragment of reality that is constructed and deconstructed in real time with the movement of the subject.
-
The stories for a cluster of a specific number of characters would be made by one writer, and maintained by another.
-
The management of the vast storyline is done by managing groups of writers each operating with their own cluster.
-
The cluster system is the main resource that can be used to establish this game world.
-
How we use the cluster system.**
Note:
I think ScriptRid3r is the perfect idea to blend it with.
We don't need an entirely digital game to provide the interconnection the world desperately needs to observe; we can do it by creating a physically engaging, mentally demanding alternate reality game (ARG) that allows people to play as their alter egos as they explore an alternate world layered on top of the real world.
Each of their actions impact the game world, which end up changing the real world for good.
This is ScriptRid3r's revolution.
The rules of the game must be simple and direct.
