Why are we so tired?
Living in society with the privilege we have, which means access to information and different activities across cultures, meaning there's many other ways to live.
Our daily lives is now filled with thousands of tiny decisions that we need so that we can proceed.
"We are caught up in a war between the brain and the modern world" says Johnny Harris, and I can relate to it fully; there's just too much to deal with free will and unlimited data floating around. There's endless combinations of ideas in the form of social media content floating around because of that.
Our lives become an introspective battleground where we are surrounded by fractured ideas but do not have the means to inspect the truth behind the mess.
We suffer not only from an overpopulation of people, but also ideas.
Ideas are not necessarily creative or inductive to our development. And since development itself has unintended consequences, it's fair to say most of our ideas may be counterproductive to our living. Nevertheless, all of them continue to affect our everyday existence.
We are divided by the presence of so many ideas.
The invisible, individual strands of reality blind us to the truth; that our lives were never meant to be as complicated. We were the ones who ended up complicating everything by adding on more ideas, more paths for living life.
