On the books you read, indulge in the following note-making activities to enhance your understanding of each book you read;

1. Underline important lines by the author.
2. Use vertical lines on the margin to highlight paragraphs which are too long to underline.
3. Use , #, sequential numbering (1. 2. 3.), etc. to point to significant words or statements.
4. Write questions and answers to your thoughts emanating from the book at the top and bottom margins of the book -
   WRITE BETWEEN THE LINES.
