Why does each of us crave to be part of a community?
For starters, human beings are social animals. We started out as tribes.
The greatest value we can ever create is achievable by doing it with people, for people.
Considering the current mode that society runs on, we can find out whether it's possible to achieve a state of equilibrium between the desire for community and the current need for capital.

What is a co-operative?
A corporation that co-operates with their direct stakeholders (employees) and relations within the public for the greater good of all.
This arrangement navigates the profit mindset but by prioritizing the community over the individual, the world over the self.

2) A business uplifting other businesses - Singapore Saloon (fiction)
When the venture is a 6Cr+ luxury saloon establishment enjoying it's fair measure of capitalism, what happens when the owner feels the need to develop their surroundings? Especially when the surroundings include people in need for business?
It starts from the epicenter, from the hub creating awareness of the various other ventures present in the area.
When a sense of community is integrated into our commerce, maybe we can shift from a purely profit-focused, individualistic approach, to one which is more welfare-centric.
It can be a way for empathy to be shared everywhere, to give back to the earth that made us richer in the first place.
To understand the atrocious inequality of life and commit to reducing the troubles of the deprived.
Isn't that what a ruling authority's responsibility entails and where their capacity falls short? We can't even blame them for that. After all, we're a capitalistic society. Maybe we're missing the point of life.
EVERYTHING exists in relationship to EVERYTHING ELSE. We can't do anything alone.
So when businesses take up part of the responsibility of fixing things without expecting any real financial benefits for themselves, they attain a power that unites instead of one that divides. One that prioritizes the long run over the short. The area over the street. The world over the self.
