I once heard that walking
is not our effort to move forward,
but to push the ground backward
with our stride.
They say faith pushes mountains,
and I say motion is relative,
unlike the other emotions.
For when an unstoppable force meets
an immeasurable object,
it's upto us to figure out
how to plough through a track
that doesn't decimate the whole land.
Yes, it is a problem,
all our faiths invested variously,
making one unique, alien even,
and as odd as the other.
But compared to a static universe
where the beliefs each follow
remains the same,
this makes us humans
a lot more moving.
