If we look at the sum of all the problems faced in humanity, the core of it all comes down to one simple question; do individuals exist for society, or does society exist for individuals?
I believe this is a very important question. This question, which has been addressed in the work of J. Krishnamurti and other philosophers, rests at the center of all human conflict.
What is society? Is it supposed to be a shared construct that all of us are basing our actions on? A collective of ideas that constitute human living?
Well, one thing is certain. It contain groups of individuals linked together by ideas.
If so, it is by nature, divisible.
Thus, ideas shared in society, by nature, do not unite. They only further separate.
The very idea of society brings together an amalgamation of ideas from individuals, indivisible units. Hence, their very existence divides society exponentially, and the fragments increase with each interpretation of an existing idea, leading to a new one. Even if ideas share a common context, they are separate
The root of the word 'idea' comes from means "to see". Each of our ideas offer a new vision, a new pattern meant for the rest to see.
Unwittingly, we, the individuals, put forth our ideas into society. And we do so for our respective reasons.
What is the outcome?
The endless clash of BJP and the opposition in India,
The ongoing Russia-Ukraine, Palestine-Israel armed wars.
The upcoming US-China trade war.
The Pahalgam terror attack and its aftermath.
All of these......are caused by the deviations in the thought strands covering up our world.
An endless supply of deviating ideas that exceed the demand. Isn't that a discrepancy worth inspecting?
How are ideas propagated? Through thoughts.
A thought can be a simple as a word, a sound, a visual, a number or an element. A feeling, or a sequence of sensations. A memory.
The need for the hour is empathy, which leads to better understanding of the human condition.
Our levels for empathy have been tested again and again due to the overpopulation of ideas.
The Selective Supply of Emotion and Demand for Reason.
What Is the Law of Supply and Demand?
The law of supply and demand combines two fundamental economic principles that describe how changes in the price of a resource, commodity, or product affect its supply and demand. Supply rises while demand declines as the price increases. Supply constricts while demand grows as the price drops.
Supply: Emotion
From birth, humans are subjected to environmental conditions that influence their growth.
And the largest environment that exists for humans is the society we exist in.
The only thing one has to do in order to survive in society is respond to the conditions they face.
And how are these reactions governed? Through biological factors which induce emotions within our brains.
Emotions stem from our reaction to things, people and ideas.
Our whole lives, we've only reacted to the unsaid, almost universal demands of society.
Of course everyone has a different reaction depending on their circumstances as well as the endlessly changing nature of events around them.
But the core of it is we are hooked onto the nature of society, moment-to-moment.
Our living and our thinking is always influenced within this cycle.
Demand: Reason
The governing principles of the largest environment we live in, society, are that of capitalism and the navigation of the indigenous cultures that overlap with its functioning.
Life is a game, regardless of whether we think of it as a game or not. And when there's the awareness of many, many, many other players in the mix, we feel the need to know the rules of the game.
Considering the random placement/arrangement of different humans in different strata of society, the overwhelming desire felt commonly by people is the demand for the game of life to be fair to each of them.
Not necessarily everyone, but at least themselves.
The least that they need to know is whether the things happening to them are fair or unfair.
This desire to experience a fair life is also closely related to the one emotional demand common for all humanity; the achievement of long-term happiness.
Happiness is also closely related to contentment, an evolved way of perceiving long-term gratification.
The demand for it is never-ending, and it is the most persistent of all emotions.

As logistics is viewed as a means to an end (supply meeting demand), thought logistics must strive to take into account the impact of each internal transaction on a person's physical/mental/socio-economic status as a whole.
An incorrect understanding of thought logistics is the reason we're surrounded by an 20240908_OverpopulationOfIdeas_pen.

Needs and wants are what drive human living.
The key to mapping out both domains requires proper listing and inspection of the connections that arise.
